Description: Carl Davis is a life-long Evanston resident. Involved in many social and civic engagements in the Evanston community. He owns a transportation business. His grandmother, known as “Peaches”, is understood to be the first female licensed Taxi driver in the state of Illinois. His mother (see Mollie Davis) worked as dispatcher of the cab company. This recording was part of the “Through The Eyes of Us” series.
