Description: Louis Mosley came to Evanston in 1937. He served in the military and went through flight school, and taught Martial Arts. In the 1960s, he and several members of his class served as security when Dr. Martin Luther King Jr came to Evanston. Mosley speaks a lot about a segregated YMCA in Evanston. This recording was part of the “Through The Eyes of Us” series.
